The Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar stated that the Turkish Navy broke the all-time record in naval cruise time in 2020.
Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar visited the Special Forces Command with Chief of General Staff Full Gen. Yaşar Güler and Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff Lieutenant Gen. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu. Minister Akar, who made examinations there, got information from Special Forces Commander Major General Ömer Ertuğrul Erbakan about the activities carried out.
Expressing that the Turkish Naval Forces broke the all-time record in naval cruise time in 2020, Minister Akar said:
“In terms of reinforcement of search and inverstigations vessels, missions in Libya and also duties in the Black Sea, Aegean and Mediterranean… when we add all of these, Turkish Naval Forces has exceeded the naval cruise time of all times.”
“We see that our relations with Egypt promotes”
Stating that Turkey is trying to develop good relations with all its neighbors, Minister Akar continued his speech as follows:
“We see that our relations with Egypt promotes. This gives confidence to ally and affords pleasure; also frightens and discourages some. We have friendship, brotherhood, common values and works with the Egyptian people. We cannot be separated from each other.There may have been a pause in our amicable relations for a number of reasons, but I wholeheartedly believe that this will pass in a short time and that our brotherhood and friendship with Egypt will be very good again. We will see that in the next period. We will all experience that this is extremely beneficial, helpful and necessary for Turkey, Libya and Egypt. “
