Within the scope of the Military-Financial Cooperation Agreements signed between the Governments of Turkey and Georgia, 4 technical service vehicles were granted to the Georgian Army by Turkey.
A statement was made on the social media account of the Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi, regarding the vehicles which were granted to the Georgian Ministry of Defence within the scope of Military Financial Cooperation Agreements. These statements were made:
“Within the scope of Military Financial Cooperation Agreements signed between Turkey and Georgia, 4 technical service vehicles supplied by our Ministry of National Defence were delivered to the Georgian Ministry of Defence today (19 July) with the participation of Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze, Defence Forces Commander Major General Giorgi Matiashvili and Tbilisi Ambassador Fatma Ceren Yazgan. The handover reports were signed by the Military Attaché of our Embassy, Supply Colonel Burak Altıner and the Head of the Strategic Planning Department of the Georgian Ministry of Defence Colonel Iosef Nikolashvili. As in every other field, our cooperation with Georgia in the field of defence continues to increase.”
Turkey grants $5 million worth of vehicles to the Georgian Army
Turkey granted 35 units of BMC Neo city 8.5 M Diesel Buses and 12 units of special purpose vehicles to the Georgian Armed Forces within the scope of Military-Financial Cooperation Agreements. The statement regarding the vehicles which were granted within the scope of the modernization of the Georgian Armed Forces by Turkey was made on the social media account of the Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi. In the statement it was stated:
“Within the scope of Military-Financial Cooperation Agreements signed between the Governments of Turkey and Georgia; Armored construction equipment and apparatus granted to Georgia by our Ministry of National Defence under the contract signed between Georgian Ministry of Defence and HİDROMEK Hidrolik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.P.; and 35 units of BMC Neo city 8.5 M Diesel Bus, granted to Georgia by our Ministry of National Defence under the contract signed between Georgian Ministry of Defence and BMC Otomativ Sanayi ve Ticaret A.P, Georgia It was delivered to the Ministry of Defence at a ceremony held in Vaziani today (November 27).
