The TS1700 is a diesel-electric submarine developed by STM as a conceptual design. It is propelled with an Electric Motor, two diesel generators assisted with an air-independent propulsion (AIP) system. Platform can dive more than 300 m depth. It can accommodate 25+6 SF personnel for 90 days at sea on double elastic platforms which prevents the personnel and the devices from devastating effects of underwater explosions. It enables the launch of variety of 16 modern heavy weight torpedoes and guided missiles from its 8 tubes.
