Turkish Aerospace Industries Internal Communication Magazine 122nd issue gives information about new collaboration in the HAVA SOJ project
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) make a new collaboration in the HAVA SOJ project which is modernising 4 electronic warfare special mission planes for the Turkish Armed Forces. With this new contract TAI, jointly produces and design plane interior and components with TCI (Turkish Cabin Interior). TAI continues to work on HAVA SOJ planes that generally use as air defence and early warning missions.

Planes selected for this project are Bombardier Global 6000 and according to the contract TAI and TCI will integrate mission systems with domestic capabilities. The estimated duration of this project calendar is 5 years and in this period both companies engineers work jointly.
Only the biggest defence industry companies can handle this kind of complicated and difficult project like HAVA SOJ and TAI CEO Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said that in signing ceremony:

In the direction of our state and armed forces requirements we are continue to deliver our countrys needs as genuie air platforms and special mission platforms with domestic abilities. With TCI, TAI aiming to complete interior design, components production, supply and assembly process with being the prime contractor of the HAVA SOJ project. Enemy communication system and radar detection, spotting locations and cross-border operation assistance are main duties of 4 planes that will be produced under the HAVA SOJ project. Those electronic warfare planes will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces.
