SATCOM antenna integration was made to Bayraktar TB2S UCAV, which was developed by Baykar Defense engineers on the Bayraktar TB2 platform. Thanks to the connection made over SATCOM, A/UAVs can communicate with the ground control station in an area as wide as the coverage area of the connected satellite, by getting rid of the range limitation of the line-of-sight (LOS) connection, and can operate in a wider area with a higher range.
