Developed with ROKETSAN battle-tested MAM family experince MAM-T, is biggest member of the family. Introduced and tested in AKINCI UCAV’s 22 April 2021 first firing test. Although MAM-T developed for suiting AKINCI UCAV’s abilities, it is possible to integrate with other capable UCAVs, Light Combat Aircrafts and Fighter jets.
As well as MAM-T is bigger than other MAM family members, it also has different kind of wing desing. Wider wing surface with desing itself provides longer effective range. In comparison with Bayraktar TB-2, AKINCI can reach higher alttitudes and with this ability, with low cost it is theoretically possible that it can neutralize Air-defence systems like Tor and Pantsir without coming within range.
In Block-1 configuration, MAM-T has ability to neutralize stationary or moving targets (armoured/unarmoured vehicles, buildings, surface targets…). Also supported with Global positioning system(GPS), Inertial navigation system (INS) and guided by Semi-active Laser(SAL) seeker.
