The HÜRJET Jet Trainer and Light Combat Aircraft, after its taxi tests have been carried out is set to make its first flight in April 2023
It was announced at the first day of MRBS’23 that HURJET is set to make its first flight in April 2023. Developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), HURJET Jet Training and Light Combat Aircraft had recently performed its first taxi. Images of HÜRJET’s taxi tests were shared by Temel Kotil on 18 March 2023.

HURJET
HÜRJET, which can also serve as Air Patrol (Armed and Unarmed) and Acrobatic Aircraft, has a speed of 1.4 machs and +8-3g limits. HÜRJET will be able to operate up to an altitude of 45,000ft and carry a payload of nearly 3 tonnes. With its advanced human-machine interface, digitally controlled flight system, internal tactical training and virtual training systems, HÜRJET will offer a new-generation aircraft flight experience.
Technical specifications of TAI ANKA-3 UCAV announced
During the first day of 4th Military Radar and Border Security Summit MRBS’23, ANKA-3 Unmanned Combat Aircraft’s technical specifications were announced. ANKA-3’s prototype was revealed on 18 March 2023 in a Twitter post of TAI CEO Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil.
