IHTAR Mini/Micro UAV Interception System has been exported to 4 countries!
The IHTAR interception system, developed by ASELSAN to neutralize mini/micro UAV threats in urban and rural environments, was deployed to various critical facilities in 2022. While contracts are signed with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Niger and Angola for the export of the “drone repellent” system, more export activities are expected to continue in 2023.
For the IHTAR system (Turkish for “Warning”), two contracts were signed in 2022 to meet the need for protection of the Turkish Presidency against mini/micro UAV threats. Its development and production was carried out in a short period of six months and was deployed to the national presidency campuses with the system being integrated into six vehicles. Adoption of the systems took place in November and December 2022.
Three contracts were signed to protect the strategically important TUPRAS and TPAO refineries and Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant against Mini/Micro UAV threats. Deliveries to companies serving in the energy sector will be completed in 2023.
