CTech and Thales Alenia Space announced that they signed a cooperation agreement on satellite communication systems.
Thanks to this cooperation, CTech has taken an important step to reach its goals in the international market by making its first export for Thales Alenia Space within the scope of satellite communication and space qualified products. Thales Alenia Space aims to improve its supply chain by strengthening its presence in the Turkish space market with this cooperation.
Ctech produces SATCOM, terminal for satellite communication, horizon line communication system Ufuk HX10, modeling and simulation solutions, radio link terminals, electronic news gathering systems and encryption and data security devices for UAVs.
CTech’s SATCOM is used in Anka-S S / UAVs. Under favor of SATCOM, S / UAVs can overcome the range limitation imposed by the line of sight (LOS) connection and communicate with the ground control station in an area as large as the coverage area of the connected satellite and can operate in a wider area and at a higher range.
The UFUK-HX10, which has a range of 200 km, offers C Band communication solution at an altitude of 40 thousand feet. UFUK-HX10 contains all the sub-components required for safe and uninterrupted communication between the UAV and the ground control station under harsh weather and operating conditions.
In addition, Aselsan works on satellite communication systems. Satellite communication systems provide uninterrupted and reliable communication between land, sea and air platforms in motion.
