The first of the ARES 35 FPB fast patrol boats built by Ares Shipyard for the Coast Guard was launched.
In her post on the Ares Shipyard Twitter account, it was announced that the first outpost boat was launched in the largest shipbuilding project consisting of the construction of 122 boats. Which will be taken by the Coast Guard fast patrol boats for the 105 as well as the Sea Islands will be used in all territorial waters of Turkey. The Ares 35 FPB is a fast patrol boat developed by the Ares Shipyard for the Coast Guard Command.

It will be produced for the first time
In February 2018, the Directorate of Defense Industry published a tender announcement for the control Bot Project on its official website. As part of the project, it was announced that 105 control boats will be supplied to the needs of the Coast Guard Command. 5 it was decided to give the tender to Ares shipyard, where the company received a call file for the proposal. The Ares 35 FPB control boats, which will be produced for the first time for the Coast Guard Command and can reach a speed of 35 nautical miles per hour, will be used in the Aegean Sea, as well as in the Black Sea, Marmara and Mediterranean Sea, and will conduct a more effective fight against smuggling.
The control boats, which are expected to be able to intervene in human trafficking as well as all judicial incidents at sea, will be deployed mainly in the ports of small towns. Staff members cannot be assigned to control boats and will be used by the coast guard and gendarmerie teams of the region if needed.
The Ares 35 FPB is an outpost boat that has proven itself with exceptional speed capability over 35 nautical miles and sea-holding characteristics suitable for harsh environmental conditions. It is designed and built for irregular migration, search and rescue, the fight against human trafficking, and security.
