Bayraktar TB2 UAV struck a cargo plane which was carrying ammunition to the putschist Haftar in Libya.
The Bayraktar TB2 UAVs of Baykar Defence belonging to the legitimate government of Libya, Government of National Accord, which is recognized by the UN, continue to strike coups against the putschist Haftar forces.
In Libyan’s ongoing conflicts, the images that the Bayraktar TB2 UAVs belonging to UMH forces have neutralized the air defence systems (Pantsir-S1) and the logistic support vehicles (truck, cargo plane) armoured vehicles of the putschist forces have already been reflected before.
The allegations of the shooting of a cargo plane that provided logistical support to the putschist Haftar forces with Bayraktar TB2 UAV, which were reflected in the beginning of April 2020, were confirmed by the latest images. On images shared on April 5, 2020, fumes were rising from a highway-like runway. It was stated that it was a cargo plane which was shot.
The new satellite images belong to a cargo plane wreck which was hit. Located about 70-80 km from the capital of Libya, Tripoli, which is under the control of GNA, the wreckage appears to be on a highway-like runway. Ammunition was being carried to the forces of Haftar on a twin turboprop engine aircraft, which is considered to be Antonov An-32 type.
GNA army spokesman Colonel Mohamed Kanono, who made a statement yesterday, announced that two Chinese-made Wing Long II UAVS and a Mi-35 belonging to Haftar were dropped in the Misrata / Abu Grain region. The Haftar front confirmed the drop of the Mi-35 and stated that all three crews were killed.
