On October 25th, 2020, many Armenian military systems in Nagorno-Karabakh were destroyed by the Azerbaijani Army.
Conflict continues as Armenian forces still attack as part of the Armenian invasion of Azerbaijani territory. Azerbaijani Army, ever since the first hours of the conflict, continues to conduct operations against Armenian forces. On October 25th, 2020, as a result of multiple strikes by the Azerbaijani Army, many Armenian systems were eliminated. Objects damaged and/or destroyed are reported to be 2 Armenian artillery camps, 2 BM-21 “Grad” Multi-barrel Launchers, one commander unit vehicle, one field headquarters, 2 trucks and one tank.

Azerbaijan shot down an Armenian jet
An official announcement made by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense on October 24th, 2020 said that a fighter jet designated under the Armenian Air Force was downed. Announcements also said that the aforementioned fighter jet was shot down by Azerbaijani Army’s surface-to-air defense systems.
“On October 24th post-afternoon, Azerbaijani Air Defense Units downed an Armenian Air Forces’ fighter jet on the Gubadlı frontlines.”
No official statements regarding the model of the fighter jet were released.
159 settlements liberated
From October 22nd onward, it was officially stated that the Azerbaijani Army in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh officially liberated 159 villages from Armenian occupation. On October 23rd, 2020, an official statement was given by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev:
“The Army of Azerbaijan has liberated towns of Dolinar and Bünyadlı in Kocavend district; Dağ Tumas, Nüsüs, Khalafli, Minbaşılı, Veysalli towns in Jabrayil district and the Kovsakan district’s Vanadli and Mirzahasanli towns. I salute the Azerbaijani Army! Karabakh is Azerbaijan’s!”
