In addition, the Albanian delegation took a commemorative photo with Baykar Defense General Director Haluk Bayraktar in front of Bayraktar TB2 UCAV. Furthermore, Bayraktar TB2 model was presented to Minister Çuci.
On June 7, 2021, the Latvian Minister of Defence, Mr. Artis Pabriks, and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Baykar Milli S/UAV R & D and production facilities. Here is what the Latvian Minister of Defence Artis Pabriks said after the visit:
“Thank you for wonderful reception! Turkish industry, research and development have highest World standarts, and being allies in NATO we value it very high. I wish you all of success!”
Minister Pabriks answered the question of “When can we expect Bayraktar TB2 to say ‘I am in Latvia’ (Es esmu Latvija)?” by saying “Hopefully soon enough.”
First UCAV export to a NATO and EU member state
Bayraktar TB2 UCAVs, which is the first in the history of Turkish aviation, will fly in the skies of Poland after Ukraine, Qatar and Azerbaijan. This will be the first time Turkey has exported a high-tech UCAVs (armed drone) to a member state of NATO and the European Union (EU).
