ASELSAN has announced that it has completed the deliveries of a foreign customer for the integration of the ASNAV-100, the export version of the ANS-600 inertial navigation system, to Sukhoi Su-25 aircraft. ANS-600 Air Inertial Navigation system is a navigation class fiberoptic airborne inertial navigation system with embedded SAASM capable global positioning system receiver designed for use in military aircraft.
ANS-600
ANS-600 has an open architecture and flexible hardware/software infrastructure that can be adapted to aerial platforms including rotary-wing, fixed-wing and unmanned aerial vehicles. ANS-600 continuously provides linear acceleration, linear and angular velocity, position and orientation information to the system it is on. ANS-600 can provide integrated (Inertial+GPS), inertial only and GPS only navigation solutions at the same time. The ANS-600 is able to use external barometric altitude data to complement its integrated and inertial navigation solution. The ANS-600 system, which has been specially developed for aircraft, has been developed specifically, including the fiberoptic inertial measurement unit used in it.
