Turkish Naval Forces has released 9 new NAVTEXs for firing training in the Black Sea, Mediterranean and Aegean(Adalar Denizi) Sea on 2-7 May 2021.
As part of the drills organized by the Turkish Navy, it released 9 new NAVTEX in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Aegean Sea. In the announcement made by the Turkish Naval Forces Department of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography, it was stated that shooting training will be conducted in the Navtex-declared areas by the Navy between May 2-7, 2021. NAVTEX advertisements were made from Samsun, Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir stations.
Russia will train shooting in the Eastern Mediterranean
Turkey announced NAVTEX (announcement to sailors) from Antalya station. In the published NAVTEX, the Turkish Naval Forces Hydrography and Oceanography Department announced that Russia’s shooting training places are within the Turkish continental shelf and that it was published from the authorized Antalya Station for the safety of seafarers.

Turkish Navy announces NAVTEX for shooting drill in Black Sea
